Leading data-driven communications agency Antidote has named Faye Lockier as its new managing director, who joins to steer the business as it approaches its 10th anniversary.
She replaces Alex Neale who moves into a newly created Client Director role, as part of a strategic repositioning exercise as it looks to continue its unbroken growth record since inception.
Lockier joins from Ultraleap - a Bristol-based technology company which specialises in hand tracking and mid-air haptics. Lockier led the communications team for four and a half years, developing and delivering its strategic vision through acquisitions, funding rounds and product announcements.
As part of the redefined MD position, Lockier will play a pivotal role in the leadership team, driving Antidote’s market position as well as managing day-to-day operations and team growth.
Becca Williams, Antidote CEO, commented: “I founded Antidote with a single vision in mind; to create an agency that genuinely didn’t buy-in to the ‘PR fluff’ but understood the power of data to deliver communications that could positively impact the bottom line of a business.
“That pragmatic approach remains core to the way we think and work today. At our heart, we are analysts and technologists, exactly as many of our clients are. It’s how we are able to get to the nub of the challenges our clients wish to tackle. It’s how we have delivered great work and grown, even in the face of a global pandemic.
“Faye’s own approach - as seen through her work at Ultraleap - mirrors ours exactly and is the right person to help lead the company in our next phase, as we look to scale. I am excited to have her onboard.”
Speaking about her appointment, Lockier added: “The combination of Antidote's data-led approach, the team and clients are what drew me to the company. It was clear that they all truly believe that using data can elevate communications into a core business function that can have a profound impact on a business. A view I wholeheartedly agree with.
As the agency nears its 10 year anniversary, I look forward to steering the ship with the team into the next successful decade.”
